About Me

With over three decades of experience as a dedicated special education teacher, I have honed essential skills in problem solving, collaboration, effective communication, organization and time management - skills that not only served my students and their families, but also translated seamlessly into a personal passion for real estate.  Over the years, I have successfully owned, remodeled, sold, purchased multiple homes, developing a deep appreciation for what it means to create space that feels like a home.  Now, as I transition into a new chapter of service, I am excited to bring the same passion, drive, purposeful determination to helping others to find more than just a house - but a place to call home.

 

Originally from Waterford, Michigan, I now reside in Chelsea. I am a proud graduate of Western Michigan University with a Masters’ degree from Wayne State University. For over three decades, I have personally and professionally grown as an educator and raised a family in the Chelsea-Dexter area.

My Family

I have been married to my husband since 1995 - raising three children: one serving as an officer in the United States Coast Guard, another working with a non-profit organization providing legal services to underserved youth, and our youngest who attends Chelsea High School and who is active in sports and works part time for a local hospital.  Also, I am a proud owner of a chocolate labradoodle, named Ziggy.  Currently, I serve on the executive board of Webster Church and the Webster Fall Festival Board.  I enjoy working out at the Dexter Wellness Center and am a supporter of area athletics.
